"The Challenges of Fatherhood" study

We (The University of Memphis) invites you to participate in a study titled "The Challenges of Fatherhood." You are eligible to participate in the study if you are a father and older than 18. The study examines the roles of fathers in their children's lives and factors affecting them. If you have experienced the death of a child, and wish to participate in an additional survey, you will be directed to another link including surveys about your experience of that event.

Completion of the survey questions will contribute to the growing body of information on
father's involvement in their children's' lives. The survey may take about 30 minutes to complete. This study is completely voluntary and you may stop at any time or decide not to answer questions that feel uncomfortable.

As many incomplete answers make the survey difficult to analyze, however, it will be helpful if you complete all questions that feel comfortable for you to answer. To protect your anonymity, you will not be asked to reveal any identifying information, such as name or address and will not reveal this information. You may pass the link on to others you know that fit the study requirements (a father over the age of 18 years) to support a greater understanding about fathers' roles.

Thank you very much for your time. We appreciate your cooperation.
