MENSIGHT BOOK OF THE MONTH...
ARTICLE... by Michael Capado Shadows Erupting; Rage and Violence in the Educational System If, as Martin Luther King Jr. Said, "Violence is the language of the unheard", then it could be said, perhaps, that rage is the message being communicated. For indeed, that is what these events are, rage based. They are the product of built up feelings of pain, sadness, and especially, anger which had previously been stuffed down and allowed to fester, instead of having been given appropriate avenues with which to release them constructively. ARTICLE... by Sheridan Hill In Defense of Men I never thought I’d be the one to stick up for men’s rights. I've been a feminist since I was 14 and discovered that my 1967 Webster's Dictionary defined boy as "a male child," while girl was given as "not a boy." It started when he told me that men are afraid of women. Go to Article
THOUGHTS... monthly column by Larry Pesavento Larry Pesavento has a need to devote more time to finishing and publishing his book. Larry says, "I am publishing my book on my web site (Christos Men's Center), a chapter at a time, just to get it out. It's preliminary title is "Toward Manhood". I am trying to write it so any man can pick it up and start to understand the importance of the inner life journey. I go on to describe what that journey may involve, step by step. I use the initiatory archetype as a template and symbol of this path. Most of the men who have given me feedback, especially clients, seem to connect with that approach. THOUGHTS will return in April. Go to THOUGHTS Article Archive
COYOTE... monthly column by Dick Prosapio
Psychic Fairs, Frasier and Men I like Frasier because I see so much of myself in the character, the judgmentalness, the pompousness, the narcissism, the holier-than-thou poses and it's refreshing to be able to laugh at those character flaws in him and at those things I recognize in myself at the same time. All of them were in full flower for me when I first began as a "reader" at psychic fairs around the country a few years ago. Here I was, an experienced professional psychotherapist reading tarot cards and giving advice in hotel conference rooms and civic auditoriums surrounded by the flotsam of New Age gee gaws like crystals, stuffed dragons, pyramids, "magic" stones, vibrating sleeping pads, magnetic pillows and signs proclaiming the coming of various "avatars" and "healers" not to mention some very weird people who claimed to be able to predict the future, heal whatever ails ya, and bring into awareness the series of past lives which have all culminated in and been the cause of someone's present hell on earth.

ARTICLE... by Bruce Ian Schimmel
From My Father One day when I was 29 and working for an older lawyer, I was introduced by him to one of his clients, a doctor. This man asked me if I was Moses Schimmel's son and I proudly responded yes. He relayed to me how my father, as a medic in the army at the end of World War II, did the chemical analysis on the lamp shades that the Nazi's had made of Jewish children's skin. His testimoney at the Nurenberg Trials sealed their fates.
